Well,

As most have you have seen already, i have started working on the integration of my database to the net-7 portal (http://enbdatabase.net-7.org or http://www.enbdatabase.com)

The first stage is just about complete and is now active on the portal.

The database is using the same as my old site until the devs allow me to use a newer dump, so there has been no data update.

So, please, feel free to log in to the portal, and browse the Items section.

Feedback appreciated.

Emulator progress

Hi all,

just to let you know there is a lot of new things that are being worked on in the server to allow the content team to be able to restore more of our game. This list is by no means complete, there are other projects being worked on but these are some highlights:

Short Term:

Improved Game Launcher.
Raids.
Hulk content.
Improved Job diversity.
Better channel support (mainly private channels).
Refinement of the MOB behaviors.

Longer term:

Scaracen racetrack.
Collision system for planet surfaces and spacial objects.
Refined Event system.
Dynamic economy.
Completion of item buff handling.
Expansion of faction rewards.

And important fixes being worked on right now:

Mission progress bugs & issues.
Formations & Formation warp. [Fixed?]
Weapon jamming bug. [Fixed]
MOB 'teleporting' in busy areas.

Forum Skins - Part Deux

Hello everyone,

This is just to let you know there's now a few skin choices available in the forums for those of you interested in picking a race to back. Show your pride, Jenquai, or should I say Jen-pie? The passions of a Protagonist Progen? We've got that too. Even one for those money-grubbing Terrans, like me. In any case, there's three race skins, one for each race. Just go to the selector box in the lower left hand corner of the page and choose the one that you like most.

Public Test Realm

Hey everyone,
As some of you may know we now have put up a public test realm for people to play on. This server is going to be used for the developers and players to hopefully work out issues before patches are made to the play server. This may not always be the case, but we are going to try to move most big changes to the PTR (Public Test Realm) first.

On a side note about the PTR, we will not promise anything with your characters. We will be wiping any time we need on this server. Many of times what we need tested will be handed to you when you create a new character (Items, Levels, Skill points, etc.). We will announce any major bug testing that will be going on using the launcher.

The last thing is since the PTR is running on the same server as the Developer server it may not always be online. If we need to free up ram for testing it may be pulled off line until we need it for testing. This server is not a “play server” but a server for testing.

The address for the PTR server is ptr.net-7.org. I am going to try to keep it up to date with the newest accounts on the play server so that everyone can log into it. As we decide more of how we are going to run the PTR server we will let you know.

Dont fret!!!

The portal will now detect if your account is not active, and will popup a box giving you the option to resend the validation e-mail to your address.

If you find that you dont receive it more that twice, please contact the team by posting in the Technical support forum.

New form validation

Due to the earlier bug with form validation.

I have switched to a new method of validation for registration of a new account.

With the new validation method, this has also allowed me to re-add the forgot password function.

If you have any problems please post in the Technical Support and i will resolve issues as soon as possible

Forgot your Net-7 Account Password?

I have just added a faciclity to reset your GAME ACCOUNT password out of game... (This does NOT effect your forum account)

You will need your account name, and the original e-mail address you signed up with.

If you click the login button, you will notice the new link at the bottom of the popup 'Forgot Password'

This WILL require your account to be re-activated via e-mail again, so before you proceed make sure you have access to the e-mail address we have in the system.

New Portal Feed

We have now added an 'Updates' feed to the Net-7 Portal.

The feed is taken directly from the Launcher patch notes to allow you to read any changes from the web.

IRC Server

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let everyone know we have now opened an IRC server for people to come on chat/get help/talk about earth and beyond. The official channel is #enb. The IRC server is on irc.enb-emulator.com or if you wish you can use the java chat at http://www.net-7.org/ and click on the IRC button. We will also need some people to help out with tech support on the IRC.

We now have a mirrored IRC room. If you type in game /ircon and then /irc you are able to talk with people in the #enb room. Also to leave the IRC room you can type in /ircoff.
